The Junior Squash Wizards are based at the Patesians Sports & Social Club in Cheltenham and is run by Gary Powell who is a Level III England Squash Coach. The Junior Squash Wizards were established here in 1997.

     The group sessions are structured according to ability not age. Skill & fitness tests are done regularly leading to a pass in the next more advanced skill level - there are 15 levels! A player's skill PB (Personal Best) & fitness PB record is kept up to date on the Squash notice board - which encourages goals to be set and helps to identify which skills need to be improved.   

     Group & individual sessions are held after school during the week, with a further three sessions on a Saturday (Occasionally on a Sunday). During the School holidays there are sessions both morning and afternoon.

Sessions run throughout the year. 

      A FREE individual 30 minute taster session, for complete beginners, can be booked at a convenient time, any day of the week.

All equipment is supplied - you need only bring a pair of clean indoor trainers. 

      Some of the top junior & senior county players were taught at the club, some are now coaches, at their own clubs, and a few have turned professional and are now on the PSA world tour. 

      The emphasis at Wizards Squash is having lots of fun while learning to play to a high standard, with group and individual sessions for all ages from 5 through to 18 years.

       If you are searching for activities for children during the holidays or for children after school - look no further. We also do outdoor activities and hold an annual cross-country race to the top of nearby Leckhampton Hill.
